These pictures represent the "before and after" that we read about in the book. The first picture shows the man leaving the house walking towards the camera. In the second picture we see the man walking away from the camera. This is showing the before shot and after.

These pictures also represent "small to big" and "big to small". They show the driveway starting off large and wide then as you follow it towards the house it gets narrower.
