1. The Wizard of Oz Poster was probably made around the 50's or 60's. The Buffalo Soldiers poster was probably made in the late 90's. The Vertigo poster was probably made around 30 years ago and the Matrix Revolution poster was probably made about 4 years ago.
2. The wizard of Oz is probably going to be a happy movie because everyone is really happy. Buffalo Soldiers look like a comedy. I think this because he doesn't look very serious with the ammo around his neck. Vertigo seems to me to be a sad/love movie. It seems this way because the people on the poster don't look very happy but yet they are hugging. The Matrix Revolution seems like an action movie. It looks like an action movie because they look serious and they have weapons.
3. I believe that the designer used the colors that they did to get the full effect of the poster. Colors help to get the point across and to help draw your attention to the poster.
4. In the first two the titles do not stand out so you look at the pictures first then follow the lines to the title and sub-titles. In the next to the titles stand out more which makes your eyes look at the title then follow them to the pictures.
5. The posters on the the following pages were made sometime during anyone of the wars. I can tell because they all say something relating to the wars that were going on at that time.
6. The way their uniforms are different indicate they are from another country. Also, some have facial feature that seem to be from other countries.
7. I believe the designers used the colors they did because the color brings out the full effect and emotion of the poster.
8. I believe each one has you look at the image first then read the text or the other way around. To get the full effect the designer wants you to see both the picture and the text to understand what the poster is about.
