Rhetorical analysis

I Believe that the people who took the picture that we are analyzing were very concerned about that women that had to work. I think that they were trying to get the point out that women can work just as hard as men can. The photographer behind the picture might have hoped that the audience would believe that women really can work and eventually allow women to venture out and get jobs when the men got back from war. I think that the photography caught the women all when they were smiling on purpose. This shows that the women actually want to work and enjoy working.

These are lovely pictures, and you are right on the money Ben. I would say, though, that the photographer probably tried a little too hard! There is a "propaganda" element to them, compared to more modern photojournalism. But wow are they well composed.
